SAI Warranty

SAI Drive Solutions warrants all sales from SAI to be free from defects for the period of one (1) year from the date of invoice.

Coverage

SAI warranty covers equipment supplied to the original customer in the configuration supplied. Warranty is limited to the replacement, repair or issuance of a credit for the equipment confirmed to have failed following a RMA assessment. Warranty will be enacted only if the customer promptly notifies SAI in writing within the warranty period about the discovery of an alleged defect. The equipment will be examined by SAI and considered to be covered by warranty should the equipment failure not be caused by improper installation, customer alteration or attempted repair, environmental damage or operational misuse.

Limitations

SAI is not liable for any failure that results from equipment damage from end user, misconfiguration or electrical failure resulting from an external transient power source. SAI warranty is in lieu of all other warranties whether expressed, implied or statutory including warranties of merchantability or fitness and extends only to the original customer who purchased product from SAI.

Danfoss Standard & Extended Warranty

Danfoss / Vacon products are offered with 12-month manufacturer warranty from the date of commissioning. Danfoss offers extended warranty on all its VFD products. Extended warranty can run up to 6 years with a subsequent 4 years being assessed under conditions of the equipment at the time. For more information see, Danfoss Warranty page.
