Danfoss DrivePro-tection Extended Warranty
With Danfoss DrivePro-tection, downtime expense and hassle of many types of accidental drive damage are minimized. DrivePro®-tection coverage is available for purchase for periods up to six years.
Reduce downtime
With a DrivePro®-tection agreement, you can improve productivity. Your plant is up and running faster after an unscheduled shutdown, a concrete productivity boost you will register on the bottom line.
Peace of mind
If you experience a breakdown, you can be sure your drive will be repaired or replaced fast, at little or no cost.
Know your budget
You know the annual cost of maintaining your drives, up to six years in advance. This predictability gives you a strong business case and a stable, reliable budget.
DrivePro®-tection replaces the Standard Warranty. Coverage begins on the date of shipment and extends to the end of the contract period. Coverage terms are defined in the Danfoss Drives warranty statement.
Use the On-site Repair tables to select DrivePro®- tection coverage which includes parts, labor, and travel.
DrivePro®-tection also covers the following:
- Line anomalies - including lightening strikes
- Load anomalies
- Accidental exposure to moisture or corrosives
- Accidental collision or other physical damage
- Defects in product material or workmanship
- Normal Product wear
NOTE: Product vandalism, misapplication, shipping or installation damage, chronic destructive site conditions or site catastrophes such as floods, fires, hurricanes or tornados are not covered.
All DrivePro® On-site services within the coverage programs cover cost of travel and travel expenses up to a maximum of 1000.00 USD or the equivalent in local currency per warranty incident.
DrivePro®-tection is not currently offered for the following products: VLT® Drives: FC 51, FC 280, 2800, MCD 100, MCD 200, FCD 302, OGD, FCP 106, FC 360, FC 101. VACON® Drives: 10, 20, 20 Cold Plate, 20X

DrivePro®-tection Extended Warranty On-Site Repair
- Select brand (VLT® or VACON®)
- Select product line within the brand
- Select Frame Size or Power Range of product (consult Danfoss DrivePro VFD Panel / Frame Sizes) & determine the Warranty Coverage Group number
- Using the Warranty Coverage Group table, select the drives group number and lookup the desired number of months required.
- The result will show the EW SKU number and List Price.
